Medical Website Writing

For a Connecticut hospital’s 2014 website redesign, I completed extensive  medical writing under tight deadlines, including:

Web Project Management

• Researching area hospitals to determine what worked visually and appealed to the client conceptually
• Creating an outline/web plan for the primary sections of the site
• Actively participating in daily calls taking careful notes, updating project logs, and bringing attention to any issues that needed resolution

Web Content Development

• Writing 32+ pages of web content, incorporating SEO elements throughout the site
• Editing 17+ pages for the General Medical Education section
• Creating PDFs and design elements when a visual representation was needed
• Adding over 130 links to the health library during the the final hours of the project

Website Quality Control

• Proofreading and thoroughly testing links
• Adding page links throughout the site to improve navigation
